Wallpaper - Scintilla, Chalkstone

Our Scintilla, Chalkstone wallpaper brings a subtle, atmospheric movement to the wall with its soft horizontal drifts and delicate stippled detail. Rendered in quiet chalky stone and pale grey-beige tones, the design creates gentle visual depth without overwhelming the space. Fine textural nuances and sweeping, cloud-like striations give the surface an organic, stone-inspired look that remains understated across wider wall expanses. Made-to-measure and completely PVC-free, our wallpapers feature a subtle paper structure that complements quiet, considered interiors.

In the room

Because the contrast is low and the movement flows horizontally, we see this design working beautifully across an entire living room, bedroom, or calm dining area. It adds visual depth to large, uninterrupted walls without demanding all the attention, making it an ideal backdrop for spaces where you want a soft, layered feel rather than a bold graphic statement. In smaller entryways or hallway corridors, the subtle flow helps soften boundaries and creates an inviting, continuous flow between connected living spaces.

Styling it

We would pair this design with simple, grounded furnishings and natural textures that echo its understated character. Low-profile furniture in pale ash, washed oak, or muted painted finishes sits comfortably against the subtle stone pattern. For soft furnishings, heavier woven fabrics like bouclé, wool, or unbleached linen add warmth without clashing with the fine visual texture on the wall. Matte ceramics and clean-lined architectural lighting in muted black or brushed bronze help anchor the room, giving the gentle backdrop just enough definition.

Colour combinations

The palette of our wallpaper rests on soft chalkstone, warm mineral grey, and muted off-white tones. Around it, we suggest working with warm stone paints, soft putty, and gentle bone white on adjacent walls, woodwork, and ceiling surfaces. If you want to introduce a touch of grounding contrast, deep charcoal, muted olive, or rich espresso tones in key furniture pieces or trim will highlight the soft, luminous quality of the wallpaper without disturbing its quiet mood.
