Wallpaper - Burgundy Wine Aperitif Poster

Our Burgundy Wine Aperitif Poster wallpaper brings vintage graphic art into the home with a classic turn-of-the-century advertisement motif. Created in collaboration with Wild Apple Portfolio, the design pairs a dynamic dancing figure in rich burgundy tones against a deep navy blue background. The expressive typography and bold contrast give the mural wallpaper a lively, social character that naturally draws attention. Printed as made-to-measure wallpapers, our designs feature a subtle paper structure and are completely PVC-free.

In the room

We see this design working especially well in a dining room or kitchen dining space where people gather. Because the artwork has a bold graphic presence and a distinct central composition, giving it a dedicated wall allows the figure and vintage lettering to be appreciated in full. Placing this wallpaper behind a dining table or along an open wall creates an engaging focal point that brings warmth and historic charm to shared meals and entertaining.

Styling it

To balance the energetic poster motif, we suggest pairing our wall murals with furniture that features clean profiles or classic mid-century lines. Darker wood tones, such as stained beech or walnut, echo the vintage illustration heritage while grounding the room. Keeping surrounding decorative accents relatively restrained lets the artwork carry the visual interest. Understated lighting and simple tableware allow the rich tones of the wallpaper to remain the centre of attention.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is defined by its deep navy blue background and rich burgundy wine tones, lifted by warm accent hues in the figure and lettering. For surrounding walls and woodwork, soft off-white or muted cream provides a clean, balanced frame that lets the dark navy ground stand out. If you prefer a moodier atmosphere, carrying a tonal navy or deep blue across adjacent trims creates an enveloping interior, while warm amber glassware and natural timber tones highlight the burgundy details.
