Wallpaper - Holiday Form IX

Our Holiday Form IX wallpaper, created by Anne Tavoletti, centres on a stylized white Christmas tree detailed with symmetrical geometric patterns against a deep, brick-red backdrop. Dark red holly leaves, berries, and delicate botanical elements frame the central motif, complemented by candy canes and a snowflake accent for a classic festive feel. The screenprint-inspired graphic character and crisp contrast make this holiday design a distinctive focal point. Made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design brings seasonal warmth and graphic clarity to interior walls.

In the room

We see this wallpaper working particularly well as an accent wall in an entryway or living room during the holiday season. Because the design is built around a strong, symmetrical central motif, it naturally anchors a space when placed on a balanced, relatively uninterrupted wall area. In an entryway, it creates an immediate festive welcome without overwhelming the room, while in a living room, placing it behind a sofa or along a central gathering wall gives the detailed illustration room to be appreciated up close.

Styling it

To balance the bold graphic quality and deep red ground of the design, we suggest pairing it with furniture and accents in warm wood tones and understated finishes. Simple, traditional seating and quiet textiles allow the central tree illustration to take visual lead without competing for attention.

• Pair with warm natural wood furniture, such as oak or mid-toned timber, to complement the earthy brick-red background.
• Keep surrounding decorative items clean and unpatterned, allowing the detailed symmetry of the tree and foliage to stand out clearly.
• Add soft, warm lighting nearby to highlight the contrast between the crisp white patterns and the deeper red tones.

Colour combinations

The palette is rooted in rich brick red, dark tonal foliage reds, and crisp white. To create a cohesive look around the wallpaper, we suggest pairing it with adjacent walls painted in warm off-white, soft cream, or muted linen tones. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping feel, pulling out the deep brick tone for painted trim or neighbouring architectural details can frame the wall mural beautifully.
