Wallpaper - Statue of Liberty New York

Our Statue of Liberty New York wallpaper brings an iconic landmark into focus through crisp architectural photography by Tono Balaguer. Centred against a clear, soft blue sky, the oxidized patina of Lady Liberty stands out in distinctive tones of verdigris and jade green, crowned by the warm golden gleam of the torch flame. The upward photographic angle creates a strong vertical presence, giving the monument an open, architectural feel on the wall. Produced as a made-to-measure, PVC-free wallpaper with a subtle paper texture, it provides an expressive visual feature for residential interiors.

In the room

We see this photographic mural wallpaper working especially well in a private study or home office, where the clear geometry and monumental subject anchor the room without cluttering it. Because the subject rises vertically through the centre and right of the frame against an open blue backdrop, the design benefits from a relatively uninterrupted wall where the full silhouette can be seen clearly. In a room with higher ceilings, the upward perspective of the photograph feels natural and gives the wall a sense of height. We also like this mural on an accent wall behind a desk or low shelving, where furniture remains below the main figurative elements of the statue.

Styling it

The clean sky backdrop and oxidized green copper tones lend themselves well to a tailored, contemporary or classic Americana interior. We would pair this design with clean-lined furniture in darker woods or black painted finishes to echo the structured lines of the monument. For surrounding hardware and lighting, accents in warm brass or antiqued bronze naturally pick up the warm gold of the torch flame, creating a subtle dialogue across the room. Keeping nearby wall art minimal allows the large-scale photographic composition to serve as the singular focal point of the space.

Colour combinations

The palette of our wallpaper is defined by the distinctive jade and verdigris greens of weathered copper, set against cool sky blues and finished with a highlight of golden yellow at the flame. On adjoining walls and woodwork, muted off-whites, cool slates, or pale sky-toned greys complement the background seamlessly. If you prefer a richer contrast, deeper charcoal or navy tones on surrounding trim or cabinetry create a sharp, architectural frame around the lighter greens of the mural.
