Wallpaper - Pulse, Sky Blue

Our Pulse, Sky Blue wallpaper brings a rhythmic, flowing pattern of soft geometric waves to the wall, balancing abstract modernist geometry with fluid motion. Inspired by the clean graphic structure of mid-century screenprints, the design layers cool sky blue and muted steel blue tones across a gently undulating wave sequence. The visual repeat gives the surface an energetic yet steady cadence without overpowering the room. Like all of our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

In a living room, we see this wallpaper working especially well on a primary feature wall behind a sofa or low credenza. The horizontal rhythm of the waves naturally draws the eye across the room, which makes wider, uninterrupted wall surfaces an ideal setting to display the complete visual movement. Because the geometric stripes have a distinct graphic presence, giving the design space to breathe prevents the pattern from feeling fragmented.

For a dedicated home office, we like how the cool blue tones establish an orderly backdrop for a desk setup. The balance between structured lines and curved waves creates visual interest that remains crisp in even daylight, making it a natural fit for spaces where you want wall murals that introduce personality while maintaining a clean, focused atmosphere.

Styling it

The modernist character of this pattern pairs naturally with mid-century and contemporary interior styles. We would combine the cool palette of the wallpaper with furniture in warm wood tones, such as teak or medium oak, which creates a grounded contrast against the cool blue hues.

To keep the focus on the rhythmic geometry, we suggest choosing furniture with clean, uncomplicated profiles. Simple silhouettes, whether a streamlined linen sofa or a low-profile media console, allow the movement in the mural wallpapers to lead the room without visual clutter. Matte black metal accents or brushed steel details in table lamps and shelving can also echo the crisp graphic quality of the screenprint-inspired waves.

Colour combinations

The design itself centers around a palette of fresh sky blue, steel blue, and soft off-white background tones. These cool, measured shades create a clean foundation that is simple to coordinate with surrounding surfaces.

For adjacent walls and woodwork, we recommend off-white, light chalky grey, or a very pale grey-blue that subtly picks up the lighter waves in the wallpaper. If you want to introduce deeper contrast, navy accents or rich charcoal tones on trim, upholstery, or shelving provide a striking anchor. For a warmer balance, earthy terracotta ceramics or ochre textiles bring an inviting warmth against the cool blue backdrop.
