Wallpaper - My Bohemian Life Love

Created by Daphne Brissonnet, our My Bohemian Life Love wallpaper brings a joyful, embroidered-looking folk art motif to the wall. Playful birds perch along winding branches filled with blooming roses, stylized blossoms, trailing berries, and fluttering butterflies, alongside charming details like a crescent moon and stars. The design has the visual texture of traditional hand-stitched needlework set against a soft off-white backdrop with a brushed surface character. Our wallpapers are made-to-measure according to your specific wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

We see this design working beautifully across spaces where you want to introduce warmth, storytelling, and lighthearted charm. It is a natural fit for a nursery, toddler room, or playroom, where the illustrated birds and floral details give children plenty of small vignettes to discover. The balanced, open composition also allows it to transition gracefully into a bedroom or dressing room, creating a whimsical focal point on the wall behind a bed or vanity without overwhelming the space. In a living room, giving the wallpaper a wide, relatively uninterrupted wall lets the graceful curves of the flowering branches unfold completely.

Styling it

The embroidered character and folk-art sensibility pair naturally with warm, relaxed interior styles. We suggest pairing this design with furniture in light natural wood or painted finishes in soft cream and muted pastels, which echo the gentle tones of the backdrop. Keeping larger upholstery relatively quiet in plain weaves allows the lively bird and flower motifs to take center stage. For surrounding accents, simple glazed ceramics, rattan storage baskets, or woven floor coverings bring out the handcrafted charm of the pattern without competing for attention.

Colour combinations

Our wallpaper features a lively palette of coral pinks, warm yellows, soft oranges, and rich turquoise, balanced by earthy terracotta tones and deep teal foliage against a pale, warm white ground. When choosing surrounding wall paint or joinery colors, pulling the soft cream from the background creates a seamless, airy surround. If you want to introduce more color, a muted sage green, dusty rose, or soft cornflower blue drawn from the botanical details adds gentle depth to trim, painted furniture, or adjacent walls.
