Wallpaper - Ink Sribbles, Stone

Created by RNM Arts, our Ink Scribbles, Stone wallpaper pairs expressive, abstract brush strokes with an understated neutral palette. Flowing, organic ribbons of soft stone grey wind across a warm off-white, light beige backdrop, showing subtle textural variations along their softly feathered edges. The fluid, vertical movement of the line work brings an artistic energy to the wall while maintaining a gentle, grounded contrast that feels calm rather than overwhelming. Made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, this design brings an effortless, gallery-inspired character to contemporary living rooms, bedrooms, or creative workspaces.

In the room

We love how the continuous vertical rhythm of this design adds height and movement to a room without crowding the space. In a bedroom behind the headboard, the muted stone-on-beige tones provide an artful focal point that remains gentle on the eyes. In a living room, dining area, or home office, the scale of the abstract ribbons works exceptionally well across wider, open walls, where the full sweep of the brush marks can unfold. Because the contrast between the stone grey strokes and the light background is soft and harmonious, it also sits comfortably across multiple walls in a compact hallway or study without feeling visually heavy.

Styling it

The abstract, gestural character of this wallpaper naturally complements modern, minimalist, and Scandinavian-inspired interiors that celebrate organic forms and clean silhouettes. We suggest pairing it with clean-lined furniture in warm natural oak or ash, alongside soft upholstery in oatmeal, pale grey, or linen tones to echo the paper's light foundation. Black or matte charcoal accents, whether in lighting fixtures, side tables, or picture frames, can offer a sharp, deliberate graphic counterpoint to the soft grey linework.

Colour combinations

The design is built on a quiet palette of soft stone grey against a warm off-white, beige backdrop. To create a cohesive scheme, consider pulling these exact tones into adjacent painted surfaces, interior doors, or architectural trim with warm chalky whites, greiges, or pale pebble greys. For a richer, more layered interior, the muted grey strokes also pair effortlessly with deeper accent colors such as olive green, burnt terracotta, or charcoal grey across cushions, throws, or decorative ceramics.
