Wallpaper - Sweet Season VIII

Designed by Beth Grove, our Sweet Season VIII wallpaper brings a warm holiday spirit to the wall with its painted lettering and charming seasonal motifs. The central phrase, "Together Christmas is a little cosier", is rendered in soft sage green script and block typography, flanked by warm brown holly leaves and delicate red berries. Faint, textured snowflakes scatter across the off-white background, lending a gentle winter atmosphere without overwhelming the composition. As with all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because the graphic typography forms a clear focal point, we see this design working particularly well as an accent wall in a dining room or living room during the festive season. Placing it on a central wall where family and guests naturally gather allows the message to frame the space. The open, light background keeps the room feeling airy, while the centered composition is well suited to walls positioned above a low sideboard, console table, or dining bench where the lettering remains comfortably in view.

Styling it

To complement the traditional cottage aesthetic, we would pair this design with warm natural materials and simple holiday accents.

• Style the surrounding space with warm wood furniture, such as an oak dining table or a rustic wooden sideboard, which picks up the earthy brown tones in the holly leaves.
• Introduce soft neutral textiles, like unbleached cotton or coarse linen runners, to balance the painted graphic style.
• Add understated greenery and matte red accents around the room to tie naturally into the illustration's festive palette.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper features a restrained palette of sage green, warm earthy brown, and berry red set against an off-white backdrop with soft grey snowflake accents. For the surrounding walls and woodwork, muted warm whites and soft creams provide a seamless transition that lets the graphic take center stage. If you prefer deeper contrast, pairing the wall mural with an earthy moss green or a muted forest tone on adjacent trim creates an intimate, cozy atmosphere.
