Wallpaper - Kings of The Forest

Our Kings of The Forest wallpaper brings a quiet woodland scene to life through soft, watercolor-like washes and layered autumn tones. Designed by Haitham, the composition features stags standing among slender birches and misty pine trees, balancing warm saffron, golden ochre, and earthy browns against cool, misty forest blues. The gentle diffusion of the painted trees gives the mural wallpaper a serene depth, making it a distinctive focal point for a living room or vacation home. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is custom made-to-measure and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because the motif carries a scenic landscape composition with tall vertical trees and clear focal figures, we think it works best on a wider, uninterrupted wall. In a living room or a dedicated art studio, placing this wall mural behind a low sofa, credenza, or desk allows the full landscape perspective to remain visible. The contrast between the bright, open sky above and the richer foliage below gives the room a grounded, tranquil character without overwhelming the space. In spaces with ample natural daylight, the subtle tonal shifts in the autumn leaves and misty pines become especially nuanced.

Styling it

To complement the painterly, heritage feel of the design, we recommend keeping surrounding furniture simple and grounded. Mid-toned or warm wood pieces, such as teak or vintage walnut, pick up on the earthy woodland tones in the forest floor and tree trunks.

For textiles, upholstery in neutral oatmeal, soft taupe, or muted rust provides comfortable texture without competing with the pictorial detail of the wallpaper. Keeping decorative accessories understated allows the scenic artwork to serve as the primary visual story in the room.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper palette centres around warm saffron, golden yellow, soft amber, and earthy browns, grounded by slate blue, forest indigo, and misty white.

When choosing paint colours for surrounding walls, trim, or cabinetry, consider:

• Soft off-white or warm cream to match the open, luminous sky in the upper portion of the design
• Muted slate blue or hazy grey-blue to echo the shadowy pine forest in the background
• Warm ochre, camel, or clay tones to draw out the glowing autumn foliage and the stags' coats
