Wallpaper - Resting Palm Tree

Our Resting Palm Tree wallpaper captures a tranquil coastal scene photographed by Jan Becke, where a leaning palm tree extends lush green fronds over soft white sand. Calm blue ocean water stretches out toward an open sky scattered with light clouds, creating a bright and open photographic landscape with balanced natural depth. The clear daylight and gentle horizon line give the composition a calm, airy presence across the wall. Printed to your specific wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design brings a clean scenic perspective into your interior.

In the room

We see this photographic landscape working especially well in a living room or bathroom where the open horizon can create a sense of visual openness. In a living room, placing the design on a main feature wall behind a sofa allows the full panoramic perspective of the beach and ocean to unfold naturally across the space. The soft blues and warm sands also translate comfortably into a bathroom setting, where the coastal scenery complements a fresh, light-filled atmosphere. For a vacation home or sunroom, our wall murals provide an expansive focal point that connects indoor spaces with outdoor coastal imagery.

Styling it

When styling around this scenic design, we recommend keeping surrounding elements clean and relaxed to let the open landscape remain the primary focus. Low-profile seating and uncluttered arrangements work well to prevent the horizon line and palm foliage from feeling obstructed. Light or warm wood tones, such as natural ash or pale oak, harmonise easily with the sandy beach foreground, while simple woven textures like rattan or jute echo the tropical theme without competing with the photographic detail.

Colour combinations

The design is built around sky blue, clear ocean tones, pale sandy white, and the vibrant green of the palm foliage. To build a balanced scheme around our mural wallpapers, consider pairing them with soft off-white or light sand on surrounding walls to continue the warmth of the foreground. Crisp white architectural trim helps frame the view cleanly, while deeper ocean blue or subtle olive green accents in textiles can subtly pull out the richer tones within the foliage and water.
