Wallpaper - Tribal Tones

Our Tribal Tones wallpaper, designed by Veronique Charron, brings together a playful sampler of graphic motifs, hand-drawn botanicals, and geometric symbols over a warm, canvas-textured backdrop. Bold black linework anchors the composition, balanced by soft swatches of coral, ochre, muted blue, and warm beige. The rhythmic arrangement of spirals, dotted marks, concentric shapes, and stylized leaves creates a lively collage with a textile-inspired visual character. Produced as made-to-measure mural wallpapers on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design brings an artistic, eclectic feel to your home.

In the room

Because of its grid-like rhythm and distinct visual elements, this design works especially well as a feature wall where the entire composition can unfold naturally. In a living room or open dining room, placing the wallpaper along a main uninterrupted wall allows the balance of larger symbols and finer line details to stand out without competing with heavy tall storage.

We also see this working beautifully in a creative home office, study, or teenage bedroom. The balance between earthy background blocks and energetic black outlines gives the wall character while keeping the room feeling warm and grounded. In an entryway or hallway, the varied motifs offer plenty of detail to catch the eye as you move through the space.

Styling it

The eclectic character of this wallpaper pairs naturally with relaxed, contemporary, and mid-century modern furniture. To let the varied symbols on the wall remain the focal point, we suggest keeping larger surrounding furniture simple in form.

Low-profile sofas, clean-lined credenzas, and light or warm mid-tone wood pieces sit comfortably against the earthy tones of the print. Matte black metal accents on lighting or chair frames echo the strong graphic linework in the artwork, while neutral woven fabrics like cotton or wool keep the overall setting balanced and calm.

Colour combinations

The palette of our wallpaper is rooted in warm, earthy tones: coral orange, terracotta, ochre yellow, soft faded teal, black, and off-white against a warm linen-like base.

When painting adjacent walls or selecting room accents, you can easily pull from these existing shades:

• Soft warm off-white or light sand on surrounding walls keeps the room bright while matching the textured background.
• Terracotta, rust, or muted coral accents on cushions, throws, or decorative ceramics tie directly into the warm painted blocks.
• Muted dusty teal or slate blue accents provide a quiet, cool contrast that highlights the subtle blue notes in the print.
• Soft charcoal or matte black details anchor the room and repeat the bold graphic ink lines.
