Wallpaper - Snow Day II

Snow Day II by Max Blakesberg Studios brings the raw excitement of winter sports into focus with dynamic ski photography. In this design, a freestyle skier flips upside down in mid-air with crossed skis, sharply outlined against a clear, brilliant blue sky. Below, sunlight sweeps across snow-covered mountains and sculpted slopes, creating dramatic contrast between crisp white snow, rich shadows, and deep blues. Like all of our wallpapers, this mural is made-to-measure to your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We see this wallpaper working especially well as a bold accent wall in a vacation home, mountain lodge, or a modern living space where you want to celebrate alpine culture and outdoor adventure. Because the composition features an expansive sky in the upper half and detailed snowy mountains in the lower section, it naturally draws the eye upward and gives a room an open, airy feeling. In a lounge or living room, placing this mural wallpaper behind low-profile seating keeps the skier and the mountain peaks visible without interrupting the dramatic movement of the jump.

Styling it

To let the dynamic photography take center stage, we recommend pairing this wall mural with clean lines and warm, grounding materials. Natural wood finishes, such as pine, light ash, or weathered timber, balance the cool alpine palette and enhance that classic lodge aesthetic. Keep upholstery and larger furniture simple in neutral greys, charcoal, or crisp white, allowing the vivid blue sky and high-contrast action to serve as the main focal point of the room.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper centers on clear sky blue, bright white, cool shadow tones, and crisp black accents from the skier's gear. To create a cohesive look across adjacent painted walls, soft off-white or cool pale grey lets the blue sky stand out clearly. If you prefer a richer, more tailored feel around the mural, picking up the deeper slate tones or dark blue on surrounding trim creates a defined frame for the scene.
