Wallpaper - West Palm Beach Florida Skyline Concrete

Designed by Michael Tompsett, this city skyline wallpaper captures the architectural profile of West Palm Beach, Florida, set against a concrete-look neutral background. The composition presents the distinct urban silhouette in deep charcoal tones, grounded along the lower half with expressive splatters and drips that evoke the spontaneous energy of paint and street art. Above, generous open space allows the weathered visual texture of the pebble gray backdrop to show through, creating a balanced, graphic mural wallpaper. Like all our wall murals, this design is custom made-to-measure and printed on PVC-free wallpaper paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

We especially like this design on a main uninterrupted wall in a living room, study, or home office where the skyline has room to stretch horizontally across the space. Because the visual weight is concentrated in the lower section of the artwork, the upper wall remains open and airy, which keeps the room feeling spacious rather than enclosed. In a home office or study, positioning the skyline behind a desk creates a focused, architectural backdrop that adds character without competing with daily work. For a living room, placing low-profile seating along the wall lets the iconic buildings rise cleanly above the furniture line.

Styling it

The urban character and clean contrast make this wallpaper an easy fit for contemporary and industrial-inspired interiors. We would balance the bold graphic silhouette with low-slung, tailored furniture in clean geometries, keeping decorative clutter to a minimum so the skyline remains the visual anchor of the room.

Surrounding materials can lean into the urban aesthetic or soften it:

• Matte black metal lighting fixtures or minimalist steel shelving frames connect naturally with the dark architectural silhouettes.
• Warm, light-toned wood such as natural ash or pale oak brings warmth into the space, softening the cooler concrete-like backdrop without competing with the motif.
• Textured upholstery in woven neutral fabrics balances the clean graphic lines of the buildings while keeping the overall atmosphere grounded and comfortable.

Colour combinations

Our wallpaper pairs deep charcoal and near-black graphic elements with a soft, warm pebble gray and neutral stone background. To build a cohesive palette around it, we recommend drawing from the neutral mid-tones in the design. Soft warm off-whites and pale stone grays work nicely on surrounding walls and trim, keeping the space bright while mirroring the concrete-textured ground. For accent pieces, deep charcoal, muted olive, or rich cognac tones provide a natural counterweight to the darker elements of the skyline.
