Wallpaper - At Peace

Our At Peace wallpaper captures a sunlit woodland path winding through tall trees, where soft morning light filters through the canopy and bathes the foliage in warm, glowing tones. The photographic composition balances the strong vertical lines of the tree trunks with lush green leaves and an earthy dirt trail that draws the gaze deep into the forest. What we particularly appreciate about this design is the contrast between the deep woodland shadows and the luminous golden haze spreading across the left side of the scene. Like all our wall murals, this design is custom made to your specific wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because of the strong sense of perspective created by the winding path, we see this working especially well on a main feature wall in a study, home library, or dedicated meditation space. Giving the wallpaper a wider, relatively uninterrupted wall allows the full depth of the forest trail and the angled sunbeams to open up the room naturally. In a study, positioning a desk facing into the room or to the side lets the forest scenery form a quiet, grounding backdrop behind you rather than getting blocked by high shelving. The interplay between shadowed foliage and bright morning light also comes to life beautifully in rooms with steady natural daylight, where the delicate transitions across the green tones feel crisp and expansive.

Styling it

To complement the rich natural character of the woodland scene, we would lean into simple furniture with clean silhouettes that do not compete with the fine photographic detail of the trees. Warm wood tones, such as mid-century walnut, stained oak, or aged teak, echo the tree trunks and forest floor while adding warmth to the interior. For upholstery and textiles, woven natural fabrics in muted olive, moss green, or neutral linen work harmoniously alongside the greenery without drawing focus away from the wall. Keeping metal hardware understated with dark bronze or matte black accents helps anchor the space and ties in naturally with the deeper shadow tones of the timber.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper centres on rich forest greens, fern tones, and deep mossy undertones, illuminated by warm golden ochre and soft haze where the sunlight breaks through. Surrounding the mural with complementary paint shades like warm off-white, light greige, or soft sandy beige on adjacent walls keeps the room feeling airy while letting the deeper greens stand out. For trim, cabinetry, or accent furnishings, muted olive or deep forest green creates a cohesive connection to the darker leaves, while subtle touches of warm brass or ochre textiles draw out the luminous morning light in the artwork.
