Wallpaper - Cabourg

Our Cabourg wallpaper brings together horizontal stripes with a gentle, woven-looking visual texture, designed in collaboration with Limolida Studio. Crisp white bands alternate with soft sky blue and deeper teal stripes, overlaid with a crosshatch look reminiscent of vintage coastal linen. The balanced horizontal repeat creates a tranquil, orderly rhythm across the wall without feeling rigid. Produced as a made-to-measure, PVC-free wall covering with a subtle structure in the paper, this design offers a calm, classic aesthetic that feels both fresh and timeless.

In the room

We see this design working especially well in spaces where you want a clean, coastal, or heritage-inspired atmosphere. In a bathroom, powder room, or laundry room, the horizontal banding helps widen the visual feel of more compact walls, lending a grounded yet airy character. The repeat is structured and balanced, which also makes it an excellent choice for an entryway or mudroom. Because the pattern relies on clear horizontal lines, it sits comfortably on both smaller accent walls and throughout full rooms where you want steady, calming continuity.

Styling it

The textile-inspired character of the motif pairs naturally with classic and relaxed interior directions. We recommend balancing the horizontal geometry with warm painted cabinetry or classic white trim to highlight the crisp structure of the bands. The muted blue and teal tones work harmoniously alongside unlacquered brass hardware, light natural materials, or traditional beadboard panelling. By keeping surrounding furnishings relatively simple and uncluttered, the quiet texture within each stripe gets the space it needs to be appreciated up close.

Colour combinations

The palette is built around clean white, soft atmospheric blue, and rich teal. To complement these shades, we suggest pairing the wallpaper with chalky off-whites or soft greige on neighbouring walls and wood trim, which keeps the room feeling gentle and cohesive. For a slightly more defined scheme, bringing in deeper navy accents or warm sandy neutrals in surrounding textiles provides a lovely, grounded contrast that enhances the seaside feel of the blues.
