Wallpaper - Fresh Coconuts

Our Fresh Coconuts wallpaper by Jan Becke captures an upward photographic view of a tall coconut palm against a clear blue sky with drifting white clouds. At the crown of the textured, earthy brown trunk, a generous cluster of ripe sunshine yellow coconuts catches the light, surrounded by wide-spreading green palm fronds. The open vertical composition and clean color contrasts bring a bright tropical character to an interior wall. Made to measure and completely PVC-free, our wallpapers feature a subtle surface structure in the paper and are designed to be straightforward to hang.

In the room

Because of the strong upward perspective and vertical trunk, we see this wall mural working particularly well on taller walls or in rooms with generous ceiling height. An uninterrupted wall in a vacation home, sunroom, or bright living space gives the sweeping palm fronds enough space to stretch out without feeling cropped by tall storage units.

In smaller rooms or compact entryways, using this design on a single feature wall can introduce an airy, outdoor feeling. The open blue sky behind the foliage prevents the upper portion of the wall from feeling dense, keeping the space visually open even in narrower layouts.

Styling it

We suggest pairing this photographic design with furnishings that echo its natural, relaxed character. Rattan, woven cane, or warm wood furniture harmonize naturally with the earthy brown trunk and sunshine yellow coconuts without competing for visual attention.

To keep the focal point on the palm foliage, we would keep surrounding textiles relatively simple. Lightweight, unpatterned fabrics and low-profile seating allow the vibrant canopy to draw the eye upward, complementing a contemporary coastal or Palm Beach aesthetic.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper centres on rich sunshine yellow, earthy brown bark, vibrant leaf green, and a bright sky blue. When decorating around this design, we like pulling the soft golden yellow or warm sand tones from the coconuts and trunk onto adjacent walls or woodwork.

For a crisp and airy feel, pairing the design with soft white or off-white trim creates a clean frame around the blue sky. If you want a more grounded look, introducing deeper olive green or warm clay accents in accent furniture can balance the bright highlights of the crown.
