Wallpaper - Negroni

Our Negroni wallpaper brings the lively character of cocktail culture to the wall through an expressive watercolor-style illustration by Mercedes Lopez Charro. The composition centers on a classic cocktail glass filled with rich cherry red tones and defined by detailed crosshatch linework, finished with a citrus slice, dark straw, and playful cursive lettering across a soft pink background. What we especially like about this mural wallpaper is how the bold graphic shapes balance against the fluid paint marks, creating a spirited accent with an artistic presence. Like all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure to your specific wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper structure.

In the room

Because of its expressive motif and graphic focal point, we see our Negroni wallpaper working naturally as a feature wall in social areas of the home, such as a dining room, kitchen, or a dedicated home bar corner. The bold cherry red drink illustration draws attention immediately, making it a great choice for a wall behind a dining table or alongside open shelving where glassware and barware are displayed. In an open-plan kitchen and living space, giving this design a dedicated, relatively compact wall creates an inviting focal point without overwhelming the rest of the room.

Styling it

To let the graphic artwork and rich red tones stand out, we would pair this design with simple, design-forward furnishings:

• Balance the energetic red illustration with warm painted furniture or warm wood elements that ground the palette.
• Keep surrounding tableware, glassware, and decorative objects clean in shape, leaning into contemporary or eclectic maximalist interiors where bold art feels right at home.
• Frame the feature wall with soft, warm lighting in the evening, which brings out the warmth of the cherry red and soft pink background tones.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built around vibrant cherry red and soft pink, accented by dark graphic line details and citrus tones. To create a cohesive look around the wallpaper, we suggest pairing it with warm neutral paint shades, soft off-whites, or muted cream on adjacent walls and trim. If you want a more saturated, color-confident space, deep burgundy or muted terracotta accents in nearby upholstery or accessories can pick up on the drink's rich red palette.
