Wallpaper - Sepia Tulip III

Our Sepia Tulip III wallpaper by Deborah Revell brings a striking botanical study to the wall, focusing on the ruffled, undulating petals and graceful curved stem of a parrot tulip. Rendered in a monochrome palette of soft grays and muted pebble tones, the design captures the delicate, layered quality of watercolor against a gently textured backdrop. The composition balances quiet restraint with dramatic scale, creating a refined focal point that brings natural elegance into a room. Printed made-to-measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture, this wallpaper offers a timeless take on botanical wall murals.

In the room

We see this design working beautifully across an accent wall in a calm bedroom, behind a headboard where the sweeping curves of the flower can be fully appreciated. The balanced, monochromatic palette also makes it a wonderful fit for a serene living room or a dedicated meditation space, where a quiet visual presence is essential. Because the motif centers around a single expressive floral form, we recommend placing it on a relatively uninterrupted wall so the movement of the stem and the fine petal detail remain unobstructed.

Styling it

To complement the quiet elegance of the wallpaper, we suggest pairing it with clean-lined contemporary furniture in warm natural materials. Lighter wood finishes, such as bleached oak or ash, help keep the atmosphere open and airy, while soft woven fabrics like linen and bouclé introduce subtle tactile contrast without competing with the floral study. Keep decorative accessories minimal, allowing the delicate silhouette of the tulip to take center stage.

Colour combinations

The design relies on a nuanced palette of neutral grays, warm pebble, and charcoal shading. When choosing surrounding wall colors, soft off-whites, warm stone, and pale mineral grays create a seamless, harmonious flow throughout the room. If you prefer subtle contrast, deeper charcoal or muted taupe on adjacent trim or doors will neatly frame the mural wallpapers while echoing the darker tones in the petals.
