Wallpaper - Sunrise

Created by Mackenzie Nelson, our Sunrise wallpaper captures the quiet atmosphere of early morning across open pasture. The composition features horses grazing in a broad green meadow, rendered with visible, painterly brushwork that gives the landscape an expressive oil-painting aesthetic. In the background, soft mountain ridges in muted blues and purples rise beneath a luminous glowing sun and pale dawn sky. As one of our made-to-measure mural wallpapers, it is printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, bringing an expansive, picturesque pastoral view directly into your interior.

In the room

Because of the broad horizon line and open composition, we see this design working especially well on a larger, uninterrupted feature wall where the entire landscape has room to unfold. In a living room behind a sofa or across the main wall of a dining room, the panoramic depth naturally opens up the space. It also brings a calm, grounding presence to a bedroom behind the headboard or in a quiet study, library, or home office. For homes with a cabin, lodge, or countryside character, this design creates an inviting focal point in an entryway or guest room.

Styling it

The rustic and traditional character of the artwork pairs naturally with classic and country-inspired interiors. We would combine this mural with warm wood furniture, such as natural oak, pine, or walnut, which echoes the earthy warmth in the pasture and sunlight. Keeping surrounding furniture relatively simple and unadorned allows the rich brushwork and scenic detail of the wallpaper to remain the center of attention.

Colour combinations

The design is built around a palette of grassy greens, golden yellows, soft denim blues, and warm dawn tones. When painting adjacent walls or selecting trim, we recommend pulling out the gentle cream or pale butter tones found in the morning sky for a seamless, light-filled look. For a deeper, grounded contrast, surrounding surfaces in muted olive green, slate blue, or warm tan harmonize beautifully with the landscape's natural shadows.
