Wallpaper - Lovely Flowers

Our Lovely Flowers wallpaper brings together creamy eggshell white roses, bright yellow centres, dark green foliage, and earthy red rose hips set against a solid black backdrop. We designed this floral pattern with a historic, oil-painted visual character, where delicate petal details and rich leaves create a striking contrast with the dark background. The balanced botanical repeat gives the motif a refined, artistic presence on the wall. Produced made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, our mural wallpapers are straightforward to hang in any home.

In the room

We see this floral design working particularly well in a bedroom, living room, or hallway where the deep black ground can establish a cosy, enveloping atmosphere. Across a feature wall behind a bed or sofa, the high visual contrast allows the white blooms to stand out crisply without competing with the rest of the room. In an entryway or staircase, the repeating botanical forms add depth and movement to narrower spaces. The contrast between the light petals and the dark backdrop catches daylight beautifully, while softer evening lighting deepens the moody, historic feel of the overall design.

Styling it

When styling around this wallpaper, we like pairing it with dark-stained or warm wood furniture to complement the earthy red rose hips and deep black base. Simple silhouettes in upholstered pieces keep the focus on the intricate floral repeat without crowding the room visually. For accents, antiqued brass or blackened metal elements echo the 19th-century oil-paint inspiration naturally, creating a grounded, classic interior.

Colour combinations

The pattern centres around eggshell white, rich dark green, warm earthy red, and bright yellow details set against a solid black ground. To build a cohesive palette around our wall murals, we recommend pulling the soft eggshell white into adjacent painted walls, ceiling trim, or linen bedding to keep the space open and balanced. Deeper forest greens and muted burgundy or terracotta tones also work beautifully on larger textiles or painted woodwork, continuing the natural shades found in the leaves and rose hips.
