Wallpaper - Secret Garden

Our Secret Garden wallpaper, created in collaboration with artist Silvia Vassileva, brings a painterly floral composition into the room through soft brushwork and layered botanicals. Broad, expressive petals in muted slate, sage, and pale fawn yellow drift across an atmospheric canvas-textured backdrop, accented by subtle golden ochre scuffs and delicate botanical spires. The composition balances generous floral heads with lighter, fluid background foliage, creating a tranquil and artistic rhythm on the wall. Produced made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design brings an organic, hand-painted feel to contemporary living spaces.

In the room

We see this floral design working particularly well in spaces where you want to foster a calm, restful atmosphere, such as a bedroom, living room, or dedicated meditation space. Because the blooms are painterly and softly rendered rather than sharply defined, the pattern feels gentle across a full room or on a broad accent wall behind a bed or low sofa. In a larger living room, giving the wallpaper a continuous wall allows the soft layering of petals and brushstrokes to unfold naturally without competing with heavy architectural breaks.

Styling it

The earthy, organic modern aesthetic of this design pairs beautifully with low-contrast, relaxed furnishings. We recommend choosing low-profile furniture in muted tones to keep the visual weight balanced across the space.

• Ground the room with natural wood tones, such as bleached ash, pale oak, or warm birch, which echo the fawn and golden undertones of the artwork.
• Introduce soft, unpatterned fabrics in matte weaves or washed finishes to complement the painterly texture without adding competing motifs.
• Keep decorative accents understated, using stoneware, matte ceramics, or brushed brass elements that pick up the warm ochre accents in the print.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper’s palette is anchored by soft fawn yellow, muted sage, and slate grey-green, illuminated by delicate touches of ochre and warm cream. To create a cohesive look around the wallpaper, we suggest pairing it with surrounding walls or woodwork in soft off-white, light fawn, or a desaturated sage green. If you prefer deeper contrast in surrounding joinery or accent furniture, a muted slate or charcoal grey will draw out the darker flower centers while maintaining an elegant, grounded balance.
