Wallpaper - Monstera V

Designed by Becky Thorns, our Monstera V wallpaper brings a graphic botanical study to life with soft gradient shading and bold silhouettes. Stylized monstera leaves emerge across a deep teal-blue backdrop, rendered in muted fern and sage green tones with subtle airbrush-like textures. The asymmetrical composition leaves generous negative space on one side, allowing the large, perforated foliage to create a clean visual balance. Like all Wallism mural wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions, printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, and is straightforward to hang.

In the room

Because the foliage sits primarily across one portion of the mural with an open expanse of dark teal, this design is especially effective on an accent wall in a bedroom or living room. In a bedroom, placing the motif behind the bed lets the climbing monstera leaves frame the headboard naturally without overwhelming the rest of the space. In a home office or living area, we recommend giving this wallpaper a wider, relatively uninterrupted wall so the sweeping stems and open ground have ample breathing room. Generous natural light helps highlight the delicate gradient transitions inside each leaf, while dimmer ambient lighting draws out the cozy depth of the dark background.

Styling it

The blend of graphic lines and organic forms makes this wallpaper a natural match for contemporary and organic modern interiors. We would pair it with clean-lined furniture in warm wood tones, such as mid-tone walnut or teak, which balance the cool teal and green palette. To maintain visual balance, keep surrounding upholstery relatively calm with matte fabrics like woven cotton or wool in muted neutral tones. Subtle matte black or muted brushed brass accents in lamps or shelving hardware echo the graphic nature of the botanical cutouts without competing with the design.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper features a palette of deep teal-blue, muted fern green, and softer sage gradients. For adjacent walls, consider pairing it with a soft pale sage or a complementary muted off-white to keep the room light and open while drawing attention to the mural. For trim, cabinetry, or larger surrounding furniture, deeper forest greens or dark petrol blues create a sophisticated, tone-on-tone connection that mirrors the depth of the background.
