Wallpaper - Baby Giraffe

Our Baby Giraffe wallpaper by Farida Zaman brings an uplifting, storybook character to children's spaces through flat illustration and playful graphic lines. The illustration centers on a smiling sunshine yellow giraffe with warm brown spots, soft pink cheeks, and dark ink linework, standing amid a field of bright orange, yellow, and white flowers on leafy green stems. Set against an open white background accented by a smiling yellow sun and delicate black stars, the composition feels light, airy, and full of warmth. Like all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical paper structure that is straightforward to hang.

In the room

In a nursery or toddler room, we see this design working beautifully as a focal point behind a crib or a low toddler bed. Because the motif features distinct vertical height in the giraffe alongside grounded floral details near the base, giving it a relatively open wall lets the character interact naturally with the room without being obscured. The clean white background helps keep smaller bedrooms feeling spacious and uncluttered, while the friendly character adds a welcoming visual anchor. If you are decorating a shared play corner, placing our mural wallpapers along an activity wall creates a dedicated, cheerful backdrop for floor play and reading nooks.

Styling it

To balance the illustrative energy of the wallpaper, we suggest pairing it with clean-lined furniture in light natural wood or warm white painted finishes. Keeping the larger furniture pieces simple allows the bright shapes and linework of the giraffe to take center stage without visual competition.

For textiles and room accents, draw directly from the sunny character of the illustration with a soft butter-yellow throw, an unbleached cotton rug, or simple matte ceramic lamps. Bringing in low open shelving with a few wooden toys or framed prints helps ground the lower flower field, creating a cohesive and inviting space.

Colour combinations

The design itself features a cheerful palette of sunshine yellow, warm brown, rosy pink cheeks, bright orange, grassy green, and clean white, outlined with crisp black details.

When planning the surrounding surfaces, we like combining this mural with warm off-white or soft cream on adjacent painted walls and woodwork to maintain a bright, continuous feel. If you prefer a gentle contrast, muted earthy tones such as soft ochre, warm terracotta, or a pale sage green on baseboards or shelving pick up the organic floral accents without overpowering the light background.
