Wallpaper - Fan Damask Orange

Designed by Nina Leth, our Fan Damask Orange wallpaper brings a graphic 1970s revival feel to classic floral damask geometry. The pattern features stylized, fan-like botanical forms with undulating stems and leaves, rendered in warm burnt orange and earthy terracotta tones against a soft, muted backdrop. A subtle woven textile-like visual texture softens the bold shapes, giving the repeat an artistic, vintage character. Produced made-to-measure to fit your exact wall dimensions, this PVC-free wallpaper offers an easy way to introduce warm rhythm and retro style to an interior.

In the room

We see this wallpaper working especially well in a bedroom or living room where its rhythmic curves can establish a warm, grounded backdrop. Because the stylized damask forms have a generous scale and flowing vertical movement, they show their full beauty on a wider feature wall, such as behind a low-profile sofa or headboard. In a dining space, the earthy palette creates an inviting, enveloping atmosphere that feels relaxed yet deliberate.

Styling it

The distinct 1970s aesthetic pairs naturally with mid-century modern and retro-inspired interiors. We would balance the graphic curves of the motif with clean-lined furniture in warm timber tones such as teak, walnut, or honey oak. For upholstery and textiles, look to simple woven textures in neutral ecru, cream, or amber to complement the earthy tones without competing with the bold pattern.

Colour combinations

Our wallpaper is built around warm earthy shades, combining burnt orange and muted terracotta with subtle warm beige. To create a cohesive scheme, pair it with surrounding walls painted in soft plaster, warm linen, or creamy off-white. For a bolder, monochromatic approach, deep clay or rich rust accents on painted trim and cabinetry will enhance the depth of the motif.
