Wallpaper - Swaying Lines, Hay

Our Swaying Lines, Hay wallpaper features soft, rhythmic wavy lines sweeping across a textured, plaster-like beige ground. The undulating lines bring a sense of organic movement and balance, while the warm yellow and earthy undertones give the surface a light, grounding presence. We like how the rhythmic flow softens rectangular architectural spaces without overwhelming them. Produced made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, our mural wallpapers bring quiet character to living rooms, bedrooms, and dining areas alike.

In the room

In an open living room or primary bedroom, we would place this design along a main wall behind a sofa or low headboard where the flowing, horizontal rhythm can stretch across an uninterrupted surface. Because the geometric line pattern is balanced and tonal rather than high-contrast, it also performs exceptionally well in transitional areas like entryways, hallways, and home offices where you want visual texture without creating clutter. In a dining room, wrapping this design across multiple walls establishes a warm, enveloping atmosphere that feels grounded and cohesive.

Styling it

To complement the organic geometry of our wall murals, we suggest pairing this design with furniture that echoes its relaxed, contemporary character. Sculptural pieces with rounded edges, low-profile seating, and warm wooden elements harmonise naturally with the curving lines of the pattern.

• Pair with soft, tactile upholstery and curved armchairs to reinforce the gentle movement across the wall.
• Introduce warm woods such as oak or ash to complement the earthy beige foundation.
• Keep wall-mounted decor minimal, allowing the continuous wave pattern to serve as the room's primary visual texture.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is built on a base of warm beige, soft hay-yellow, and gentle earthy neutrals. When selecting paint shades for adjacent walls, trim, or cabinetry, consider muted ivory, warm sandstone, or soft biscuit tones to maintain a calm, monochromatic look. For a slightly more layered contrast, deeper earth tones like warm taupe, clay, or rich camel on surrounding textiles and woodwork ground the lighter yellow-beige background beautifully.
