Wallpaper - Smiling Flowers

Our Smiling Flowers wallpaper by Imary brings together soft, overlapping botanical blooms in a gentle watercolor-inspired style. Each stylized floral motif features a rounded center bordered by delicate ray-like petals, layered across a light background in soothing aquamarine blue tones. The gentle contrast and airy composition give the design a tranquil, dreamy character that introduces subtle movement without overwhelming the surrounding space. Produced custom to your exact wall dimensions, our wallpapers are PVC-free and printed on paper with a subtle physical structure, making them straightforward to hang in any home.

In the room

We see this design working especially well in spaces meant for rest and reflection, such as a bedroom, guest room, or dedicated meditation space. Because the floral pattern is soft and evenly balanced, it can comfortably cover all four walls without feeling crowded, creating a cocooning and peaceful environment. On a feature wall behind a bed or low headboard, the layered petals provide visual depth while remaining calm in the background. In spaces that receive abundant natural daylight, the delicate washes within the aquamarine watercolor tones reveal subtle gradations, while softer evening lamplight enhances the design's quiet, restful quality.

Styling it

To complement the gentle aesthetic of this design, we suggest keeping the surrounding furnishings light in visual weight and simple in form. Clean-lined painted furniture or light blonde wood finishes pair naturally with the soft palette, allowing the floral motif to remain the primary decorative element in the room. Unfussy linen textiles, woven cushions, and ceramic accents in soft off-white or muted sand tones echo the light background of the wallpaper and keep the entire interior feeling airy and cohesive.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper centers around delicate aquamarine blue tones layered against a soft, light ground. To build a harmonious room scheme, we recommend pairing this design with complementary surrounding surfaces in warm chalky whites, pale sky tints, or soft limestone tones on adjacent walls, doors, and baseboards. For a touch of grounded contrast, deeper teal accents or muted sage textiles introduce depth without competing with the gentle floral forms.
