Wallpaper - Datura Yellow

In this botanical wallpaper, lush green fern foliage and large trumpet-shaped datura blooms meet colourful tropical birds in an intricate, nature-inspired repeat. Created in collaboration with Imary, our design features perched parrots and hummingbirds woven among vivid petals in purple, pink, and blue, set against a warm, soft background. The detailed watercolour-like character gives the pattern an artistic quality, balancing expressive floral elements with rhythmic foliage. Produced made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, our wall murals are easy to hang and designed to bring a considered decorative presence to your interior.

In the room

We see this design working particularly well in living rooms and bedrooms where the repeating rhythm of birds and foliage can unfold across a main wall. Because the botanical composition has both fine line detail and vivid colour accents, it holds visual interest across larger uninterrupted walls, such as behind a sofa or along a bedhead wall. In smaller spaces like a dressing room, powder room, or an entryway, the dense floral layering creates an immersive and welcoming atmosphere without feeling visually heavy.

Styling it

To let the detailed flora and fauna take centre stage, we recommend pairing this wallpaper with furniture that has clean, grounded silhouettes.

• Choose warm wood tones or painted furniture in quiet neutrals to provide a calm foundation that lets the vibrant foliage stand out.
• Introduce soft upholstery or linen curtains in understated cream, oat, or muted green to echo the natural greenery without competing with the motif.
• Keep decorative accents refined, drawing on subtle brass or ceramic details that reflect the artistic heritage of historic floral patterns.

Colour combinations

The palette of our wallpaper centres on rich fern greens, soft warm background tones, and bright floral accents in purple, pink, and blue. When choosing paint for adjacent walls or woodwork, soft stone, warm ivory, or pale taupe will create a gentle, cohesive transition that keeps the room bright. For a richer, more enveloping feel, pulling a deep leafy green or a muted plum from the floral details onto skirting boards or surrounding cabinetry grounds the space beautifully.
