Wallpaper - Kozo Fern VIII

Our Kozo Fern VIII wallpaper, created by Chris Paschke, features a single fern leaf rendered in watercolor across a textured off-white background. The composition uses gentle variations of earthy fern green against the quiet backdrop, giving the botanical motif plenty of room to breathe. The open layout and delicate fronds bring a focused, organic character to the wall without overwhelming the space. Like all our wall murals, this design is custom made to your dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture.

In the room

Because the botanical study is positioned as a single, deliberate focal point surrounded by generous negative space, we find it works best on an uninterrupted feature wall where the entire motif can be seen at once. It suits a calm bathroom setting, guest room, or dedicated meditation space where you want natural balance without visual clutter. In larger rooms, placing the wallpaper behind lower furniture allows the leaf fronds to arch gracefully above seating or low cabinetry.

Styling it

The watercolor aesthetic and organic modern sensibility make this design especially suited to minimalist, Scandinavian, or contemporary interiors that emphasize clean lines and natural materials.

We suggest pairing the mural wallpapers with warm, pale timber furniture and unbleached natural textiles. Keeping surrounding decor simple allows the subtle green tones of the fern to act as the primary visual interest in the room, while a few ceramic accents or living house plants help echo the botanical theme.

Colour combinations

The design is built on soft, earthy fern greens paired with a warm, textured off-white background.

To complement these tones, we recommend using chalky whites, pale stone, or soft greige on adjoining walls and painted trim. If you want to introduce subtle contrast, muted olive accents, warm beige tones, or gentle taupe upholstery sit naturally alongside the earthy greens in the artwork.
