Wallpaper - Contemporary Clematis

Our Contemporary Clematis wallpaper brings a detailed floral motif to life with vibrant carmine red petals, delicate stamens, and perched birds woven through lush dark foliage. Designed by Imary, this block-print-inspired composition flows across a soft light green background, balancing rich earthy reds and botanical greens in an orderly, symmetrical rhythm. Printed to your specific wall measurements, our PVC-free wallpapers feature a subtle paper structure and offer a straightforward way to create a nature-inspired focal point.

In the room

We love how the vertical flow and balanced repeat of this wallpaper give it a calm, grounded presence across a variety of settings. In a bedroom, we like using it on the wall behind the headboard, where the intricate petals and perched birds create a gentle, decorative backdrop without feeling cluttered. In a living room or dedicated meditation space, the design works equally well across a wider uninterrupted wall, allowing the rhythmic botanical repeat to unfold naturally. Because the pattern carries a clear vertical movement, it also sits comfortably on walls with standard ceiling heights, drawing the eye upward while keeping the overall room feeling composed.

Styling it

The heritage, block-print feel of our design pairs naturally with understated furnishings that allow the pattern to take center stage. We would lean toward warm wood furniture, such as classic mid-toned or darker timber pieces, which echo the earthy undertones of the stems and bird plumage. To balance the detailed floral shapes, we suggest keeping surrounding upholstery and curtains relatively simple in texture and solid in tone, avoiding competing decorative prints.

Colour combinations

Our design is anchored by carmine red and deep leafy greens set against a gentle light green backdrop, accented with warm brown details. To complement the wallpaper on adjacent walls or trim, we like pairing it with soft off-whites, muted putty tones, or pale sage that reflects the background tint. For a moodier, more enveloping scheme, drawing out the deep forest green of the leaves on painted baseboards or built-in shelving creates a cohesive, tailored finish.
