Wallpaper - Ginkgo Folia, Porcini

Our Ginkgo Folia wallpaper in Porcini brings together fan-shaped ginkgo leaves in a layered, overlapping botanical repeat. We especially like how the fine radiating line work across each leaf gives the pattern a sense of delicate movement without feeling busy. Rendered in soft tones of porcini mushroom beige, warm ecru, and subtle sand, the tonal palette keeps the overall look gentle and cohesive across a wall. Like all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, making it easy to hang and adapt to your space.

In the room

Because of its balanced, low-contrast composition, we see this wallpaper working beautifully across all four walls in a bedroom or dining room, as well as on a focused accent wall behind a headboard or living room sofa. The density of the overlapping leaves creates continuous visual interest, yet the restrained beige and ecru tones keep the atmosphere quiet and grounded. In a hallway or entryway, where walls are often interrupted by doorways and openings, the fluid rhythm of the repeating fans transitions naturally around architectural breaks. In rooms with generous daylight, the delicate line details in each leaf become subtly distinct, while in softer evening lamplight, the warm neutral shades blend into a cozy, enveloping backdrop.

Styling it

When styling around this design, we prefer pairing it with quiet, organic elements that complement its botanical flow. Warm wood furniture, such as natural oak or ash, picks up on the earthy undertones of the Porcini palette without competing with the wallpaper's rhythmic pattern.

To maintain balance in the space, keep larger upholstery and bedding in simple, unpatterned textures like woven wool or matte textiles in cream, taupe, or oatmeal. If you want to introduce metal accents, soft brushed brass or muted black hardware adds a considered, modern definition against the soft beige background.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on a close-toned palette of porcini beige, oatmeal, soft ecru, and delicate sand outlines. For adjacent painted walls, woodwork, and ceiling trims, we recommend using warm off-whites, alabaster, or light stone tones to keep the transition soft. If you want a deeper contrast in surrounding joinery or built-in shelving, rich mushroom, warm taupe, or deep umber shades echo the darker outlines in the motif and frame the wallpaper nicely.
