Wallpaper - Coloring Street

Our Coloring Street wallpaper brings a charming row of storybook buildings to life through intricate black and white line art. Each facade features distinct architectural character, from pointed gables, decorative roof tiles, and tall chimneys to arched windows, rounded towers, and ornate domes reminiscent of classic town architecture. The crisp monochrome drawing creates an inviting, fairytale atmosphere that encourages creativity while functioning as a clean, graphic backdrop. Like all our mural wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

In a children's bedroom or playroom, we see this design working exceptionally well as a creative feature wall behind a bed or low play table. The horizontal rhythm of the townhouses creates natural visual movement along the length of a room, making it equally fitting for a long hallway or staircase wall where the architectural details can be explored up close. Because the motif is rendered in pure black and white line work, it adds rich graphic detail without overwhelming smaller spaces or competing with toys and everyday objects. In an art studio or teenage room, the illustration provides a nostalgic, graphic backdrop that feels playful yet grounded.

Styling it

We suggest balancing the fine detail of the line art with solid, grounded furniture pieces. Simple painted furniture in muted tones or natural light wood helps keep the room calm while letting the illustration take centre stage. Rather than introducing competing patterns in rugs or curtains, we would opt for smooth, solid-colour textiles that echo the crispness of the white background or pick up playful accent colours from surrounding decor.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on a clean monochrome palette of black ink on a neutral white ground. This open, neutral base gives you complete freedom when choosing surrounding colours. Soft pastels like dusty rose, mint, or pale sky blue create a gentle, whimsical mood in a nursery or young child's room. For a bolder, contemporary setting, surrounding the wall with deeper accents like forest green, mustard yellow, or navy blue adds striking contrast while allowing the fine architectural lines of our wall murals to stand out clearly.
