Wallpaper - Duncan

Our Duncan wallpaper captures sweeping, undulating ribbons of color that flow horizontally across a luminous off-white backdrop. Designed by DG, this abstract motif layers luminous sunflower yellows, soft blush pinks, and muted slate greys with delicate, thread-like veining that suggests translucent silk or fine watercolor washes. The gentle movement and organic curves create a light, dreamy visual presence without overwhelming the room. Printed to your specific wall measurements, our PVC-free wallpapers feature a subtle physical texture in the paper that lends warmth and quiet depth to any interior.

In the room

With its continuous horizontal drift and expansive scale, we see Duncan working especially well on a wide, uninterrupted wall in a living room or a dedicated meditation space. Placing this wall mural behind a low-profile sofa allows the sweeping bands of color to stretch across the room, providing an artistic focal point that draws the eye naturally along the length of the wall. Because the movement is gentle and the background remains airy, the design can also wrap around adjoining walls in a quiet sitting area without feeling heavy or enclosed.

Styling it

To complement the fluid lines and organic character of the design, we suggest keeping surrounding furniture low and sculptural. Pieces with rounded profiles, such as a curved sofa or an oval coffee table, echo the sweeping ribbons in the artwork.

Natural light-toned woods like ash or bleached oak pair effortlessly with the sunflower and pastel tones, maintaining an open, contemporary feel. For textiles, matte textures in unbleached cotton, bouclé, or light wool keep the focus on the wall mural while adding comfortable warmth to the space.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper balances vibrant sunflower yellow against soft petal pink and smoky slate grey over an off-white base.

To create a cohesive scheme, consider pulling the soft grey from the ribbons onto adjacent painted walls or architectural trim, which helps ground the brighter yellow tones. Soft cream or warm ivory on neighboring surfaces will enhance the airy background, while accents in charcoal or muted ochre bring subtle contrast to cushions, ceramics, or upholstery.
