Wallpaper - Nautical Symbols Panel II

Created by Avery Tillmon, our Nautical Symbols Panel II wallpaper presents three maritime signal flag motifs arranged in a horizontal row across a textured off-white background. The composition balances navy blue, deep brick red, warm mustard ochre, and pale cream, rendered with a weathered, distressed visual texture that adds depth to the graphic shapes. We particularly like how the bold geometric forms create a calm, orderly rhythm across the wall. Made to measure to your exact wall dimensions, this PVC-free wallpaper features a subtle physical structure in the paper and is straightforward to hang.

In the room

We see this design working naturally on a feature wall in a study, home office, dining area, or entryway where its horizontal composition can be fully appreciated. Because the three flag panels create a wide horizontal statement, giving the mural wallpaper an uninterrupted wall allows the balance of space around each symbol to stand out clearly. In a living room or behind a low console table, the artwork anchors the space without feeling overly dense.

Styling it

The weathered maritime feel pairs effortlessly with classic, coastal, or rustic interior styles. We would balance the bold geometric shapes with warm wood furniture, such as natural oak or teak, to echo the ochre and cream undertones in the print. Keeping surrounding decorative pieces relatively understated, with clean lines and simple painted or neutral finishes, lets the graphic flags serve as the primary visual focus in the space.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper centres on navy blue, weathered brick red, mustard ochre, and warm cream. To create a cohesive scheme, we recommend pairing the wall murals with adjacent painted walls in soft off-white, muted beige, or warm greige. For a moodier and more defined look, pulling out the deep navy tone on surrounding trim, cabinetry, or architectural woodwork creates a handsome, grounded contrast.
