Wallpaper - Quilted Christmas I

Our Quilted Christmas I wallpaper by Laura Marshall brings a folk-art holiday feel to the wall with the visual character of handcrafted patchwork and stitched tapestry. Set against a deep, dark army green background, the central "Merry Christmas" script is framed by an intricate border of classic seasonal motifs, including gingerbread figures, snowmen, reindeer, pinecones, holly, doves, snowflakes, and festive trees. Earthy greens, muted reds, and warm beige give the motif a nostalgic, traditional Americana appeal. Custom made-to-measure and PVC-free, this wallpaper adds warm decorative detail to seasonal accent walls or welcoming entry spaces.

In the room

We see this design working especially well as a focal point in a living room or an entryway. Because the composition features a prominent central greeting surrounded by an illustrated border, it benefits from a dedicated, relatively uninterrupted wall where the full layout can be appreciated without being split across awkward corners.

In an entryway, placing our wall murals near the front door establishes an immediate holiday mood for guests as they arrive. For a living room, positioning the design on an accent wall behind a seating area or along a dining wall provides a festive backdrop for seasonal gatherings. The deep green base grounds the room, while the lighter cream and red details keep the wall feeling lively and decorative.

Styling it

The Americana and tapestry-inspired visual character of this design pairs naturally with traditional and rustic interior elements.

• Combine the wallpaper with warm, natural wood finishes such as pine or antique oak to reinforce its handcrafted, folk-art quality.
• Keep surrounding furniture silhouettes classic and uncomplicated so the detailed border illustrations remain the primary focus of the room.
• Layer in simple textiles in neutral linen, muted wool, or soft cream to balance the darker tones of the wall without competing with the motif.

Colour combinations

The design is built around deep army green and earthy forest tones, accented with festive reds, warm beige, soft whites, and gingerbread browns.

When choosing colors for adjacent surfaces or woodwork, we recommend pulling from the softer tones within the print. Warm off-white or muted linen paint on trim and adjacent walls provides a clean, gentle contrast against the dark green ground. If you prefer a richer palette, deep moss green or subtle cranberry accents on surrounding upholstery or painted furniture will tie the entire space together seamlessly.
