Wallpaper - La Perla Sunrise

Our La Perla Sunrise wallpaper captures a tranquil coastal scene photographed by Jim Wiebe, where a curved white sand shoreline meets calm, reflective water. Across the sky, soft tones of blush pink, purple, and warm orange spread across the horizon, set against distant mountain silhouettes and a rocky foreground dotted with tall cacti and desert vegetation. We like how the wide, open photographic composition brings depth and a serene horizon into a room, making it one of our most atmospheric mural wallpapers. Like all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because of its broad panoramic perspective, we see this wall mural working particularly well on a wide, uninterrupted wall where the full curve of the shoreline and the open sky have space to unfold. In a living room or a dedicated meditation space, placing the wallpaper along the main feature wall draws the eye outward toward the horizon, creating an open and tranquil visual feel. The gentle balance between the soft sky and the earthy rocky details means the mural can anchor a larger room without overwhelming it, while in a quieter vacation home retreat it brings a steady sense of calm to everyday living spaces.

Styling it

When styling around this photographic wallpaper, we recommend keeping furniture silhouettes clean and low-profile to maintain an unobstructed line of sight across the landscape. Low-backed seating or minimalist consoles allow the gentle transition between sand, water, and sky to remain visible throughout the room. To complement the coastal desert setting, we suggest introducing warm, natural textures such as light-toned untreated woods, woven jute or sisal accents, and unbleached cotton upholstery, which echo the organic feel of the shoreline without competing with the soft gradient above.

Colour combinations

The palette within our design centres around soft blush pink, pale coral, gentle violet, and muted orange in the sky, grounded by sandy whites and earthy, sun-baked browns in the rocks and cacti. Around the mural, we would pair adjacent walls with quiet, chalky off-whites or pale warm creams to let the colours in the sky stand out naturally. For upholstery, cabinetry, or textiles, deeper terracotta, warm sand, or muted clay tones pick up on the rocky landscape and create a grounded, cohesive interior.
