Wallpaper - Irises at Sunrise Red

In this wallpaper design created by Imary, elegant white irises emerge against a backdrop of classical architectural arches and soft vertical columns. The composition pairs delicate watercolor-inspired brushwork with structured heritage forms, rendered in a muted palette of eggshell white, soft grey, warm beige, and gentle dusky reddish-brown undertones. What we particularly appreciate is how the fluid botanicals in the foreground balance the geometric framework behind them, creating a serene and dreamy depth. Produced made-to-measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, our mural wallpapers bring an artistic, architectural presence to any interior.

In the room

We find this design works exceptionally well as a feature wall in a bedroom or living room, where the architectural arches create a natural visual frame. Because the irises rise gracefully from the lower portion of the motif, placing a low headboard or a sleek sofa in front of the wall still allows the prominent blooms and archway details to remain fully visible. In rooms with ample natural daylight, the delicate watercolor transitions and subtle grey shading within the white petals become especially clear. For larger rooms, giving this wallpaper a wide, uninterrupted wall allows the balanced symmetry of the classical columns to establish a tranquil focal point.

Styling it

To complement the refined, classical character of the motif, we would pair this wallpaper with understated furniture and clean silhouettes. A Regency-inspired or contemporary classic setting suits the design particularly well, allowing the architectural geometry to feel right at home.

When introducing materials, we suggest keeping textures soft and balanced. Smooth painted furniture or refined pale upholstery lets the detailed botanical shapes stand out without competing for attention. Light-toned woods or subtle aged brass fixtures around the room also echo the warm undertones of the background arches.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is built on a foundation of neutral eggshell white and soft greys, grounded by warm beige and muted reddish-brown arches. When choosing surrounding wall colors, we recommend soft warm whites or pale neutral greiges that match the background tones of the design. If you prefer deeper contrast on adjacent walls or woodwork, a muted taupe or a soft dusky rose creates a cohesive and elegant connection to the warm architectural elements.
