Wallpaper - Tinlift

Designed by Julia Dreams, our Tinlift wallpaper brings an intricate geometric tile motif to life with historic 19th-century character. The pattern features structured octagonal medallions and cross-like mosaic elements arranged in an orderly, rhythmic grid across a pale background. Rich earthy rust-browns and textured denim blues give each geometric shape a weathered visual appearance, lending depth and historic charm to the repeating design. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this motif is made-to-measure according to your wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

The repeating tile structure of our Tinlift design brings immediate architectural definition to an interior. In an entryway or hallway, where walls often feature doorways and openings, the medium-scale geometric grid handles fragmented spaces naturally without losing its cohesive rhythm. In a living room, we love using this design across a main feature wall behind a sofa or low credenza, where the balance between warm rust and cool denim blue can establish the visual focal point of the space. Because the repeat is disciplined and symmetric, it also sits comfortably on larger, uninterrupted walls without overwhelming the room.

Styling it

When styling around our Tinlift wallpaper, we prefer to let the geometric mosaic pattern take center stage while keeping surrounding elements grounded and tactile.

We suggest pairing this design with warm, natural wood finishes such as mid-tone oak, walnut, or antique timber to draw out the earthy rust tones within the medallions. To balance the geometric structure on the wall, introduce furniture with soft, curved silhouettes or upholstered pieces in textured linen and wool. Dark iron or patinated bronze hardware complements the vintage, 19th-century mood of the motif, while keeping decorative accessories understated ensures the wall pattern remains the visual highlight.

Colour combinations

Our Tinlift wallpaper is built on a contrast between earthy rust-brown, muted denim blue, and a soft, pale off-white background.

To create a cohesive interior, you can pull the warm rust tone onto surrounding painted woodwork, interior doors, or adjacent walls for a rich, enveloping feel. Alternatively, crisp off-white or soft stone-grey paint on surrounding surfaces allows the blues and browns to stand out with clean, graphic clarity. Deep navy accents or muted terracotta accessories can also be introduced through textiles and pottery to echo the palette of the wall mural.
