Wallpaper - Jarred Carrots

Created by Mercedes Lopez Charro, our Jarred Carrots wallpaper brings a playful, food-inspired illustration into the room. The motif centers on a clear glass preserving jar packed with bright orange carrots and leafy green tops, complete with a green-striped lid and vintage-style label lettering. Soft watercolor-like washes and gentle earthy undertones give the artwork a light, hand-painted character that stands out without feeling heavy. Like all Wallism mural wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

In residential spaces, we see this wall mural working especially well in a kitchen, breakfast nook, or casual dining space. Because the design has a centered, illustrative focus with plenty of breathing room around the jar, it works nicely on an accent wall beside a dining table or on an open kitchen wall where cabinetry does not cut directly through the main artwork. If your kitchen has a smaller, clearly framed wall section between shelving or alongside a pantry area, the scale of the illustration gives that spot immediate personality.

Styling it

To let the whimsical character of the illustration take center stage, we recommend pairing this wallpaper with simple, functional kitchen furniture and natural finishes.

• Choose warm wood dining chairs or open timber shelving to pick up on the earthy, organic feel of the harvest motif.
• Keep surrounding cabinetry and everyday ceramics in muted, understated finishes like soft warm white, light terracotta, or unglazed stoneware so the bright orange tones remain the focal point.
• Add simple green potted herbs or understated pendant lighting above the dining spot to echo the foliage in the artwork without cluttering the wall space.

Colour combinations

The illustration relies on vibrant carrot orange, crisp leafy greens, and soft glass-toned accents against a clean, light backdrop. When planning surrounding paint colors, soft warm whites and gentle off-white tones create an easy transition that keeps the room bright. If you want a bit more contrast on adjacent walls or kitchen base cabinets, muted sage greens or warm, dusty terracotta shades naturally connect with the vegetable palette without competing for attention.
