Wallpaper - Nara Flames And Flowers Pink

Designed by Julia Dreams, our Nara Flames And Flowers Pink wallpaper brings an ornate, heritage-inspired rhythm to the wall. The design features an intricate historic floral and flame-like repeat with woven, textile-inspired visual detail, rendered in deep navy blue, soft cream, and muted pinkish-earth tones. What we particularly like is how the tight vertical cadence creates a rich, structured tapestry effect that feels refined and timeless. Like all our wall murals and wallpapers, this pattern is made-to-measure to fit your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure.

In the room

In a dining room, living room, or home library, this wallpaper creates a tailored, enveloping atmosphere. Because the repeat is dense and rhythmic rather than relying on one isolated graphic, it works just as well wrapped around an entire dining room as it does on a focused feature wall behind a sofa or low credenza. In a room with generous wall height, the vertical movement in the damask-style forms helps draw the eye up naturally, while in more compact spaces or reading nooks, the fine visual details invite closer inspection without overwhelming the room.

Styling it

Because the pattern carries a detailed historic character, we like pairing it with furniture that has clean lines or classic proportions to maintain a balanced look. Darker wood tones such as walnut or stained oak echo the heritage feel of the motif, while warm brass or aged bronze hardware offers a subtle metal contrast against the navy ground.

To keep the space feeling composed, we recommend choosing upholstery and drapery in solid tones or quiet textures rather than competing small-scale prints. A simple velvet armchair, crisp linen cushions, or tailored window panels in soft ecru or terracotta will let the wallpaper remain the focal point of the interior.

Colour combinations

The palette of our wallpaper is anchored by a deep navy blue background, layered with delicate cream ornament and soft pink-toned earthy accents. When choosing paint for surrounding surfaces, consider a warm off-white or soft linen shade on adjacent walls and trim to pick up the cream highlights in the motif.

For a moodier, heritage aesthetic in a dining room or library, pulling the deep navy onto architectural woodwork or baseboards creates an immersive look. Alternatively, bringing in dusty rose, clay, or warm taupe accents through furniture and textiles subtly highlights the warm pinkish floral elements.
