Wallpaper - Party Animal II

Our Party Animal II wallpaper features a charming illustrated tuxedo cat against a soft pink backdrop, designed by June Erica Vess. Dressed in a ruffled blue party collar with a pink bow and a small yellow propeller hat, the black-and-white feline brings an expressive, playful character to the wall. The painterly brushwork and clean graphic silhouette give the design an upbeat, contemporary feel that easily lifts a room. Like all of our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper structure.

In the room

We love seeing this wall mural used where you want an energetic focal point. In a nursery, children's bedroom, or dedicated playroom, the cheerful character and vibrant pink backdrop create a wonderful storybook setting. Because the motif centers around one large illustrative focal point, we recommend placing it on a clear feature wall, such as behind a crib, low bed, or toy storage bench, so the complete character remains visible. The design also adds a fun, whimsical personality to a guest bedroom, creative home office, or hallway entryway when you want a lighthearted statement.

Styling it

To let the illustrated cat stand out, we suggest pairing the wallpaper with simple, functional furnishings in light natural wood or crisp painted white. Clean Scandinavian or mid-century lines keep the room looking curated rather than cluttered.

For accents, echo the colors in the illustration by introducing soft blue cushions, ochre-yellow table lamps, or touches of pastel pink in bed linens and rugs. Keeping surrounding patterns minimal allows the central mural wallpaper to serve as the main decorative element in the space.

Colour combinations

The palette is anchored by the solid candy pink background, paired with the crisp black and white of the cat. Vibrant accents of sky blue, mustard yellow, and rose pink highlight the party accessories. Around this wallpaper, we recommend using warm off-white, light birch, or soft chalk tones on adjacent walls and woodwork. If you prefer more color, pulling the soft blue from the collar into painted trim or textile accents creates a cohesive, cheerful scheme.
