Wallpaper - Wooden Pier

Our Wooden Pier wallpaper brings an open, tropical coastal perspective into the room through photographic depth and vivid ocean tones. Photographed by Jan Becke, the composition centers on a weathered wooden boardwalk leading directly toward a thatched-roof pavilion over crystal-clear aquamarine water. In the distance, overwater bungalows, small resting boats, and soft clouds beneath a wide sky create a balanced horizon that naturally draws the eye outward. We produce this wallpaper custom made to your dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture, offering an expansive landscape view suited to residential interiors.

In the room

The central perspective of the pier makes this design particularly effective on a main, uninterrupted wall where the sense of depth can unfold fully. In a bedroom, placing our wall murals behind a low headboard allows the water and open horizon to remain visible across the room. It also works naturally in a vacation home living area, a dedicated meditation room, or an open bathroom setting where the expansive seascape creates a bright visual focal point. Because the photographic composition carries strong horizontal lines alongside the central walkway, giving it an open wall with minimal tall furniture helps maintain the clear view toward the horizon.

Styling it

To complement the rich turquoise water and tropical setting, we suggest working with clean interior lines and balanced natural surfaces.

• Choose low-profile furniture in light or sun-bleached wood tones to echo the weathered planks of the pier without competing with the scene.
• Keep surrounding upholstery and larger rugs in muted sand, ivory, or unbleached off-white tones to ground the vivid blue hues.
• Introduce understated woven textures, such as rattan or light seagrass accents, to reflect the natural thatched detailing of the overwater huts.

Colour combinations

The palette of this wallpaper is defined by its bright aquamarine blues, deep ocean tones, warm wood grain, and crisp cloud whites. Around the room, we suggest pairing it with soft warm white, light sand, or pale drift-toned beige on adjoining walls and woodwork. If you want to pull out the deeper accents of the landscape, incorporating subtle navy or deep ocean blue through accent cushions or simple ceramics helps tie the space together without overwhelming the open atmosphere.
