Wallpaper - Blooming Spring II

Our Blooming Spring II wallpaper by Laura Marshall combines delicate floral motifs, subtle geometric checks, and collage-style botanical elements around the cursive phrase "Spring is in the Air". Set against a gentle pastel palette of cornflower blue, soft pink, and cream, the composition has the visual character of traditional block prints and heritage craftwork. The balanced mix of decorative blocks and lighter patterned areas gives the surface a playful yet organized rhythm. Made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure, this design brings a fresh, uplifting presence to any interior.

In the room

Because the design features a central typographic quote surrounded by structured pattern blocks, we see this working best on an accent wall where the motif can remain largely unbroken. In a nursery, playroom, or child's bedroom, placing it behind a low crib, daybed, or reading bench allows the cursive lettering and surrounding floral squares to be enjoyed at eye level. It also works naturally in a kitchen dining nook, hobby room, or dressing room, where the cheerful seasonal theme adds personality without overpowering the room. In larger living spaces, giving it a dedicated wall opposite natural window light helps keep the pastel blue and pink tones feeling crisp and airy throughout the day.

Styling it

We recommend pairing this wallpaper with painted furniture or light-toned woods that let the decorative layout lead the space. Simple, unembellished silhouettes work best alongside the patchwork-style composition, preventing the room from feeling overly busy.

For textiles, simple woven fabrics in solid cream, soft blush, or washed blue help balance the patterned elements on the wall. Keeping accessories and wall art minimal on adjacent walls allows the wallpaper to serve as the main decorative focal point.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper features a soft palette of cornflower blue, pastel pink, and warm cream. To build a harmonious room scheme, we suggest pulling the warm cream onto adjacent painted walls or baseboards to create a soft, continuous backdrop. For accent pieces or painted furniture, a muted cornflower blue or dusty rose echoes the printed motifs directly. If you prefer a bit more grounding contrast, deeper slate blue or muted forest green accents provide a lovely frame for the lighter pastel shades.
