Wallpaper - Claire

Our Claire wallpaper brings an artistic still life composition to the wall, featuring a rounded glass vase filled with a generous bouquet of pearl white hydrangea blossoms. Painterly brushstrokes give the delicate petals and small golden-brown centers a soft, layered feel, while deep green foliage grounds the arrangement against a muted, earthy backdrop. Created by Haley Knighten, this design carries a classic floral presence that feels quiet and composed. Like all our wall murals, it is made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, making it straightforward to hang.

In the room

Because of its painterly still life format and centered composition, we see this design working beautifully as a focal point in a dining room or above a low headboard in a bedroom. The subdued background tone and soft floral whites create a peaceful presence across larger uninterrupted wall areas, allowing the brushwork to be appreciated without overwhelming the space. In a living room, placing this mural wallpaper behind a low sofa or credenza anchors the seating area naturally while keeping the upper half of the wall open and serene.

Styling it

The heritage feel and oil-painted look pair effortlessly with traditional, cottage, or classic interiors. We would balance the delicate white hydrangeas with warm wood furniture, such as a walnut dining table or a dark-stained sideboard, which picks up on the deeper tones in the leaves.

To keep the overall scheme grounded and timeless, complement the mural with tactile linen upholstery and quiet ceramic or brass decorative accents that echo the rounded forms in the painted vase.

Colour combinations

The motif centers on pearl white, pale grey-green, deep leaf greens, and soft earthy neutral tones in the background. Around this wallpaper, we suggest pairing adjacent walls with soft chalky off-whites or pale stone hues to maintain a bright, tranquil atmosphere. For a richer, more enveloping feel, deeper olive greens or warm muted greys on trims and cabinetry pick up the darkest foliage notes in the artwork nicely.
