Wallpaper - Trio

Our Trio wallpaper brings an expressive still life into the room, featuring three sunflower-yellow blooms arranged in a round green vase against a deep, moody backdrop. Created by Pamela Munger, the design captures the rich, impasto brushstrokes and layered texture of an oil painting, resting on a softly brushed light surface that grounds the composition. The vibrant yellow petals and leafy greens stand out with warm energy while maintaining a grounded, tranquil character. Like all our wall murals, it is made to measure and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

Because the motif is structured around a single, focused still life composition, we like giving this design a clear central position where the painting can be appreciated without feeling crowded. In a dining room, it creates an intimate backdrop behind a dining table, where the deep background adds depth and makes the yellow flowers glow under lower evening lighting. In a living room, it works naturally as a feature wall behind a low sofa or credenza, allowing the full height of the stems and vase to remain visible. The balance of warm sunflower tones and dark negative space gives it an artistic presence that anchors larger spaces while keeping the atmosphere quiet and composed.

Styling it

We recommend letting the painterly character of this wallpaper guide the surrounding interior choices. To complement the earthy sunflower yellow and deep tones without creating visual competition, look toward understated furniture with organic silhouettes:

• Pair the design with warm wood furniture, such as natural oak or mid-toned timber, which echoes the organic warmth of the yellow petals.
• Keep surrounding upholstery and larger textiles relatively simple, using smooth, unpatterned fabrics in off-white, oatmeal, or olive green to let the textured brushstrokes stand out.
• Choose low-profile furniture pieces that sit below the main vase arrangement, keeping the focal point of the artwork open and unobstructed.

Colour combinations

Our design centers on rich sunflower yellow and leafy greens set against deep charcoal, dark olive, and soft painterly whites. When decorating around it, we suggest pulling directly from these earthy tones. Soft off-white or light putty on adjacent painted walls keeps the space balanced and lets the dark backdrop define the wall. For trim, cabinetry, or accent pieces, muted moss green, deep olive, or warm amber yellow tie in naturally with the vase and petals.
