Wallpaper - Woodland Drops Tropical Green

Created by Veronique Charron, our Woodland Drops Tropical Green wallpaper brings an organic geometric rhythm to the wall with vertical dotted bead-like strands against a rich emerald green backdrop. What we particularly like is the playful, screenprint-inspired texture across the background, where subtle distressing softens the contrast between the creamy off-white drops and the deep green surface. The varied scale and spacing of each pebble-shaped dot create a gentle vertical movement without feeling rigid. Like all our wall murals, this design is custom made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure that is straightforward to hang.

In the room

The vertical alignment of the dotted drops makes this design particularly effective at drawing the eye upward, giving smaller spaces a welcome sense of height. We see this working beautifully in a mudroom or entryway where the lively pattern brings instant character to high-traffic transition zones. Because the repeat feels playful yet organized, it also settles naturally into a laundry room or compact bathroom, where full-room wallpapering turns a functional corner into an engaging space. On a feature wall, the rich emerald green provides enough depth to anchor the room while keeping the atmosphere fresh and inviting.

Styling it

To let the rhythmic vertical pattern stand out, we would pair this design with clean-lined mid-century or Scandinavian furniture. Natural light woods such as birch, ash, or pale oak sit effortlessly against the deep green background, accentuating the earthy, organic tone of the print. We recommend keeping surrounding decorative accessories relatively simple, using matte ceramic accents or simple woven baskets that echo the handcrafted character of the print without competing with its movement.

Colour combinations

The foundation of our wallpaper combines deep emerald green with creamy, off-white dots and delicate weathered specks. For surrounding walls, trim, or cabinetry, soft off-whites, warm chalk, or pale stone tones help the pattern pop crisply. If you want a moodier, more enveloping palette, bringing in deeper botanical greens, muted eucalyptus, or warm clay accents will pull out the earthy richness of the background.
