Wallpaper - Abstract Stems III

Our Abstract Stems III wallpaper, created by Cheryl Warrick, brings a bold graphic presence to the wall through playful organic shapes and clean structure. The design features a meandering, serpentining green stem that winds across a subtle pale grid background, accented by leafy shoots and crowned with a vibrant fuchsia pink fan-like bloom. A gentle print texture gives the green and pink forms an earthy, tactile appearance, while the structured grid adds an appealing sense of balance and order. Printed made-to-measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design makes a striking focal point in modern homes.

In the room

Because of its expressive scale and strong graphic silhouette, we see this design working especially well on a feature wall where the winding stem and vivid pink bloom have space to make an impact. In a living room or dining area, it creates an engaging backdrop behind lower-profile furniture such as a sideboard or a low-backed sofa, allowing the full composition to remain in view.

The balance between the geometric grid and the fluid botanical curves also makes it a wonderful fit for a creative home office, study, or hallway. In spaces with good natural light, the contrast between the saturated magenta flower, the mossy green tones, and the warm off-white background feels fresh and uplifting without overwhelming the room.

Styling it

When styling around our mural wallpapers, we like to echo the clean geometry and organic contrast found in the motif:

• Choose furniture with simple silhouettes and warm wood finishes, such as mid-century inspired oak or teak, to complement the earthy green tones of the stem.
• Keep surrounding upholstery and large soft furnishings relatively quiet in natural linen or neutral woven fabrics, letting the bold botanical artwork lead the space.
• Introduce small decorative accents in ceramic, matte terracotta, or subtle brushed brass to pick up the warm undertones of the grid and the richness of the pink bloom.

Colour combinations

The palette of our wallpaper is anchored by the deep olive green of the stem and the luminous berry pink of the fan flower, all resting against a warm off-white grid.

To create a cohesive interior, we suggest pairing this design with adjacent walls painted in soft warm whites, pale linen tones, or gentle mossy greens. If you prefer a more saturated and moody environment, drawing out the olive tone across woodwork, trim, or cabinetry creates an intentional and tailored look. For small decorative touches, subtle blush, dusty rose, or ochre accents harmonize effortlessly with the floral focus.
