Wallpaper - Drifting Leaves lI

Our Drifting Leaves II wallpaper, designed by Nikita Jariwala, brings a sweeping botanical motif across a soft light blue background. Slender, fluid branches carry elongated leaves in muted tones of beige, warm ochre, soft olive green, and pale lavender-grey. What we particularly like about this design is the painterly visual texture across both the foliage and the sky-blue ground, giving the composition an expressive, hand-brushed appearance with gentle movement. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this mural wallpaper is made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We see this design working beautifully across an uninterrupted feature wall in a living room, bedroom, or dining area where the branching forms have space to drift naturally across the expanse. Because the composition has an open, airy feel rather than a dense, repeating grid, it gives walls a sense of height and horizontal flow. In a bedroom behind a low headboard or along a dining room wall, the soft blue background creates a calm visual backdrop while the warm ochre and sage tones bring quiet contrast to the space.

Styling it

To balance the organic, fluid movement of the leaves, we suggest pairing this design with furniture that has clean, grounded silhouettes. Lighter wood furniture in pale oak or birch sits naturally alongside the warm beige and ochre elements within the motif. For surrounding upholstery and larger textiles, simple off-white, oat, or muted olive fabrics will complement the foliage without competing with the painterly strokes of the wall mural.

Colour combinations

The design features a clear palette of soft powder blue, warm sand, muted mustard ochre, olive green, and subtle dusty lavender accents. For adjacent painted walls, we recommend pulling out the warm oat or soft beige tones to create a balanced transition, or choosing an off-white with neutral undertones. If you prefer a more cohesive look, soft sage or muted olive paint on adjacent doors or trim echoes the botanical elements in the wallpaper.
