Wallpaper - Summer Memories

Our Summer Memories wallpaper brings together delicate botanical line drawings and soft, watercolor-like washes across an airy, pale backdrop. Created by Imary, the design depicts a meadow of vintage-inspired wildflowers, foxgloves, and blossoms rising gently from the bottom of the wall in hazy pastel tones of blush, soft peach, subtle lilac, and muted ochre. The layered transparency gives the motif an ethereal, romantic feel while maintaining enough structural detail to give the wall character. Like all our wall murals, it is made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure.

In the room

In a bedroom, we see this working particularly well behind the headboard, where the upward growth of the wildflowers creates a gentle, grounding focal point without overwhelming the rest of the space. Because the upper portion of the design fades into quiet, misty washes, it leaves the top of the room feeling open and light.

The low-contrast, gentle palette also makes it a natural fit for a calm meditation space or a light-filled living room. On a wider, uninterrupted wall, the varied heights and detailed petals have ample room to stretch out across the full composition. In rooms with generous daylight, the delicate pastel transitions and fine botanical lines reveal their subtle tonal shifts throughout the day.

Styling it

To complement the delicate, heritage feel of the illustration, we would lean toward furniture with soft profiles and understated finishes rather than sharp, heavy modern lines. Warm-toned natural wood, such as light ash or vintage fruitwood, harmonizes effortlessly with the soft peach and ochre undertones in the drawing.

For textiles, simple woven fabrics in unbleached cotton or washed neutral weaves echo the airy atmosphere of the meadow without competing with the fine line work. We would keep decorative accessories relatively simple, perhaps incorporating subtle vintage pottery or muted ceramic accents that share the artwork's quiet, romantic sensibility.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is built on a base of soft white and delicate peach, overlaid with gentle pastels including faded lavender, rose blush, warm amber, and sage-tinted stems.

When choosing paint for adjacent walls or woodwork, creamy whites and warm stone shades provide a seamless, restful background that lets the mural wallpapers take center stage. If you prefer a richer tonal connection, drawing out a soft terracotta, chalky rose, or muted plaster pink for trim and textiles creates a warm, cohesive envelopment across the room.
