Wallpaper - Chic or Treat II

Designed by Veronique Charron, our Chic or Treat II wallpaper brings a graphic, mid-century modern spirit to seasonal decor. The composition centers on a bold skull and skeleton framed by an orange zigzag border set against a green ground with delicate spiderwebs. Overhead, a stitched-look bat swoops below a crescent moon, accompanied by black crosses, stars, Xs, and a lively grid of colorful squares in orange, pink, green, and black. Made to measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture, this wallpaper delivers plenty of playful energy while remaining easy to hang.

In the room

We love this design as a lively accent wall in a kids' room, playroom, or teenage room where its bold geometric shapes and illustrative character can take center stage. Because the layout combines distinct focal motifs with smaller decorative details, it works particularly well on an open wall behind a low bed, desk, or play table where the full scene remains visible. In a shared family space or hobby corner, our wall murals can turn a standard alcove into an expressive focal point full of graphic personality.

Styling it

The block-print-inspired forms and 1950s aesthetic pair naturally with simple, mid-century modern furniture shapes and clean lines. To keep the visual focus on the detailed pattern, we suggest surrounding the wall with understated furniture in warm wood or painted neutral finishes. Simple black metal accents, such as a sleek reading lamp or minimal picture frames nearby, echo the graphic black line work in the motif without overwhelming the room.

Colour combinations

Our design features a rich mix of ivory, olive green, vibrant pumpkin orange, soft pink, and deep black. When painting adjacent walls, soft ivory, warm cream, or an earthy muted green create a balanced backdrop that lets the orange and pink accents pop. For bedding, upholstery, or large floor coverings, solid charcoal or gentle terracotta tones tie seamlessly into the palette of our mural wallpapers.
