Wallpaper - Festive Blooms IX

Created by Anne Tavoletti, our Festive Blooms IX wallpaper brings together large red and pink watercolor-style blossoms among pine branches, holly leaves, pinecones, and red berries. A subtle light beige patterned background anchors the botanical elements, lending warmth and a classic, heritage character to the overall composition. Carmine red accents balance against deep forest greens and soft neutral tones across the repeat, creating a welcoming motif that works naturally throughout the year. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure.

In the room

We see this design working particularly well in an entryway, living room, or bedroom where its rich botanical motifs can set an inviting tone. Because the arrangement combines larger blooms with finer greenery and berry clusters, it holds interest whether viewed from across a room or up close. In a bedroom, placing the wallpaper on the wall behind the headboard grounds the space without overwhelming it. For an entryway or hall, the warm beige ground and vibrant red accents create an immediate sense of arrival, especially on walls that receive soft, ambient light.

Styling it

To complement the traditional, French country aesthetic of the floral composition, we suggest pairing the wallpaper with furniture that has a bit of warmth and visual weight. Painted wooden pieces in muted creams or soft off-whites allow the carmine and deep green elements to stand out, while antique or warm timber finishes echo the earthy pinecones within the artwork. We would keep large upholstered pieces relatively understated in solid, neutral fabrics so the botanical pattern remains the clear focal point of the room.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper palette centres on vibrant carmine red, soft blush pink, pine green, and an earthy beige ground. To build a cohesive room around it, we recommend drawing from the lighter background tones for adjoining walls, door frames, and skirting boards. Muted moss greens or deep olive tones can be introduced through accent cushions, throws, or decorative ceramics to reinforce the foliage in the design, while hints of warm terracotta or berry shades in smaller accessories help tie the entire palette together.
